The British Judo Association Ltd has delegated safeguuarding respionsibilities to the B.J.C. Ltd (The British Judo Council).
To ensure BJC coaches fulfill the basic BJA coaching safeguarding requirements.
If you have questions or concerns about a BJC coach, you will now need to contact the BJC with these.
BJC clubs do not fulfill the full affiliation requirements as outlined in the “3 Steop Safe” programme.
You can submit a query to the BJA using the “3 Step Safe” link below.

A new safeguarding concern has arisen with a BJA coach making many appearances at Crown Court proceedings after having been convicted in another matter at a Magistrates Court case.
Despite requests for clarification made to the two directly national judo association’s safegurding managers, no response has been forthcoming from either.
Using the British Judo Association’s “3 Step Safe” online tool has not led to any reponse. (See link below)
