After the organisational failings with the 2024 EJU Veterans Cup competitions, 3 out of 7 cancelled and the remaining under attended with most reduced to a 1 day competition. 
Sources claim that the former British Judo Association Chair and current EJU Director of Education, Ronnie Saez, is no longer in charge of organising EJU Veterans Cup competitions.

The 2025 Veterans Cup Competitions are currently listed on the EJU calendar.
